How it works
1. Find out your solar potential Tell the program about your home, share your hydro bills and a few photos. A solar advisor will assess your roof and prepare a Solar Journey Report showing your home’s solar potential, estimated electricity savings, and any work that needs to happen first. This usually takes about a week.
2. Compare quotes with an expert on your side You’ll be matched with a personal solar advisor who represents your interests, not an installer’s. Your advisor helps you gather and compare quotes, explains financing and technical options in plain language, and serves as your single point of contact.
3. Choose a vetted installer with confidence Installers in the program’s network meet equipment and customer service standards and provide clear, side-by-side proposals with costs and specifications fully disclosed. There’s no sales pressure, and the decision is always yours.
You can join at any stage, whether you’re just curious or already collecting quotes. Battery storage options are also available.
Who can take part?
Homeowners in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area, including all of Eglinton–Lawrence. The service is free.
